Where there's a Wynn, there's a way.
July 12, 2022
Hi everyone! Thanks for coming over to our blog, we hope the stay is nice. For those of you that's new to the site or even new to us entirely, let me be the first to say welcome. It means alot seeing all of the local community support that comes our way: from the regular client bringing in the family to get their cars detailed to the neighborly mechanics that send people our way through recommendations, it all honestly helps. We're nothing without our clients, which is why making sure all of you are happy is one of our top priorities when it comes to running this business. Four years strong so far! And with the future looking bright, we plan to keep doing what we do: giving excellent service to the Richmond/Madison County area. And hey, if we can put a smile on your face while doing so, that makes it all worth it.
So again, welcome to the site! It's looking a bit new around here. Lots of fixing and readjusting and taping together the bits to get it to where it is now. I'm happy to say that it's turned out good, but I'm somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to things like this. Along with the site, though, the blog itself is completely new. We hope to put as much as we can on here every Tuesday around lunchtime, from everything involving the ins-and-outs of detailing life, news updates about our business and specials, community outreach events we plan, to more personal topics ranging from our staff and clients and beyond. Exciting times, exciting times. With all of that being said, let's get this show on the road!
Summer is upon us, and it's feeling like it'll be here for a while.
It's been both productive and heavy the last couple of weeks here at Wynn Auto. The heat's rising, and vacationers are needing their cars readied-up for holiday trips. We have plenty to talk about this week - a great thing for the inaugural blog post - but for the Readers who don't have a good idea on what all goes into detailing an entire vehicle, let's take a trip through the shop while we look at everything we've been working on lately.
Standing Tall at the Shop
It's been a few months, but word still needs to get around a bit: we've moved! We said goodbye to the old Keeneland building and find ourselves stationed at 620 Big Hill Avenue, right across the road from the Sonic's here in Richmond. The blue storage units behind the commercial strip keep us company, and while it's a bit hidden from the road its barely a hassle to find. And thankfully so, because business has been doing great this year so far. While the outside hasn't had any big changes, the inside is where things have been really shining.

After Renovations:
And there we have it. I gotta say, from spending so much of the workday within this room, it's pretty amazing to see it have such a makeover. The colors look great, the air conditioner keeps the entire room feeling like it's not almost 100 degrees outside, and everything gives off a relaxing, peaceful vibe to it. With plenty of seating, the lobby acts as a place for our clients to take it easy and be at home while waiting on their vehicles. It was alot of hard work and effort to get it done, but the results speak for themselves.
Complimentary cool drinks from the fridge, friendly staff to help with anything you need, and a nice place to rest. What more can you ask for, really? We're doing our best to make the experience better than it ever has been, and its thanks to our customers and the community around us that we're here to help.
Heading Onto the Main Floor
Further in, we get to see the backbone of what we do here: Our staff. Each crewmember is trained up be an auto detailing expert from day 1, and it's with teamwork and determinism is how we make the cars come out like brand new. We've got some great people working here, and it's when we can come together and focus on the tasks at hand is where the shine the brightest. As we update the blog - more pictures, updates, etc. etc., - we'll make sure to show off the highlights that we see throughout the week.
And speaking of the crew, meet the captain of our ship Zac. I asked him for a photo for our first blog post. "Should we do a professional-looking one, or a cool-looking one?" was his response. We decided on the cool one. Hey, he's great at being photogenic, and started up Wynn Auto Detailing by himself with success leading the way. Zac's done his best to make our shop run as smooth as possible, for both our clients' and our employees' benefit. He's humble, determined, and honestly tries his best when it comes to this place. And people tend to agree when they meet him in person.
... and then there's me! Hi, I'm Seth. I go by Barker, and if you've called the shop or scheduled an appointment with us online in any way, there's good chances that you've already spoken with me. I'm the secretary here at Wynn Auto, which essentially means I spend my days keeping the booking and computer sides of the business up and running for everyone. If you've ever got a problem nor just need to figure some things out with us, I'm right on the phones ready to help. I've been working here since May of this year, and it's truly been the best job I've had. The people are amazing, the business is sound, and I'm doing what I can to help keep things rolling.
The Future Looks Bright
Thanks for reading up on us! We plan to have a new post up here on the site every Tuesday, and if you're subscribed to our Newsletter you'll be alerted for when goes live. Hopefully this gives a good look at what we do here at Wynn Auto, and why we take pride in being Richmond's best auto detailing service out there. The future is looking bright for us, and we're already planning on some big things for it.
In the meantime, I'll keep you posted. Cheers.
- Barker
